EALL, 23-26 January 2010
A group of 20 legislative professionals from countries participated in a 4 day course on legislative drafting, 23-26 January in Skopje (FYROM). The course was designed by EALL on request of EIPA.
The participants originated form countries in the region. The course was designed for the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA). The Regional School, financed by OECD and the EU, aims at promoting co-operation in the Western Balkans. ReSPA, currently administred by EIPA, is in development and will run its operations in the foreseeable future from Danilovgrad (Montenegro).
Experts Simone de Lange (EALL) , dr. Anne Meuwese (University of Antwerp) and dr. Helen Xanthaki (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London) introduced the participants to the basics of legislative drafting, regulatory impact and assessment and implementation of EU acquis in (vibrant) interactive sessions.
